Thank you for your interest in Julia Parker Photography. The work on this site encompasses the last 30 years of my career as Julia Parker, Photographer - a portrait and fine art photographer.

My studio work is mainly in Northern California and New York and I welcome travel for settings.

Portraiture is my great love and I strive to find the essence of human relationships with every image I take. I create a safe and loving stage for my subjects where they are free to be themselves and interact with those they love. ‘Listen and you shall see’ is my mantra as a quiet observer capturing these special bonds.

This desire to aestheticize subtle human interactions drives my fine art as well. In my artistic photography I turn my focus towards the intangible fusions of blood ties and the essence of the female spirit.
